Job Description

We’re seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Architect for a REMOTE 3-month contract to hire project with a growing company.

** Please note this is a W2 Contract role. Sorry, no 3rd party applicants. **

The Dynamics 365 CRM Architect with experience in implementing large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 CRM for various technology companies. Candidate should be proficient in various models of CRM and the entire Sales cycle to design and implement CRM working with business stakeholders and implementation partners. This is a new implementation and should consider current and future needs and be served through web and mobile platforms. Candidate should be able to provide innovative solutions leveraging mostly “out of the box” functionality to increase usability and functionality of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system. Candidate should be familiar with integrations with various other backend and back office systems to increase the true potential of our CRM (SAP, IMPartner, Varicent, Model N and other Marketing automation tools). This position requires the candidate to be comfortable working in a team environment and multi-tasking across one or more initiatives. The candidate must be a self-starter, resourceful, have good analytical skills and be willing to learn new technologies. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, an inquisitive nature, a passion for excellent service and very strong development skills in relevant technologies. Candidate should be able to present to senior management teams and also work with implementation partners to get the CRM implemented.

Job responsibilities
– The Solution Architect will lead the design delivery of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Solution moving from the ground up
– Work with business leaders and implementation partners in understanding the business need
-Transform that into a  CRM solutions that leverage our existing investment in a Microsoft-based technology environment including Azure, following best practices that will allow applications to scale and be easily maintained
– Work with implementation partners in implementing the solution
– Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
– Build Define training needs within the team and coach other team members
– Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
– Ensure progress updates are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally.
– Triage support issues and provide maintenance break / fix support for applications
– Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration test plans
– Coaching and mentoring junior developers on the team
– Be a champion for both technical and functional solutions across the Microsoft platform, driving the adoption of new features and technology
 
Experience and Background must have:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required with 10+ years of related technical experience preferably in Financial Services
– 10+ years experience in implementing and developing CRM applications in Hi-Tech domain with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform
– Have an exceptional understanding of Dynamics 365 technical and functional capabilities
– Deep and broad knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365 CRM, including appropriate certification. Must be able to show good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365
– Deep understanding of CRM modules – Sales, Service, Marketing, Field service and cloud technologies
– Broad understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning and early live support.
– Demonstrable knowledge of capabilities of the supporting software in the Microsoft stack (certification is a positive), including:
* Azure SQL / SQL Server
* PowerApps, LogicApps, MS Flow, Power BI and Common Data Service
* Visual Studio Team Service
* Lifecycle Services
– Development of Workflows, Processes, SLA, Solutions, and Integrations using D365
– Knowledge of best practices of D365 implementations
– Must have working knowledge and prior experience with all phases of the SDLC in a team-oriented, structured yet agile, model
– Experience in  understanding Business Requirements and mapping to CRM standard flows, reducing development effort and simplifying delivery
 
Good to have:
– Proficiency in one or more of the following skills:
– Java Scripting Languages:
– C# / .NET
– Relational Databases (SQL Server preferred)
– Web Development
– Xamarin
– Azure logic apps
– Documentation knowledge
– Experience of mentoring junior and offshore/onshore staff
