Job Description

Seeking an IT Service Management Consultant to join our client’s service management office. Our San Jose, CA-based client is rapidly growing and maturing so it’s an exciting time to join.

Start date: Immediate
Duration: This is a 6-month REMOTE W2 position
Working hours: Pacific Time zone.

As an IT Service Management Practitioner, you will ensure that standardized methods and procedures are put in place and adhered to for prompt and efficient handling of Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Control.

Requirements:
• Experience leading Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Control Management
• Lead IT Service Management initiatives by designing, implementing and maintaining policy process and procedure for an IT Organization. You will work with key stakeholders to create, implement and operate the process.
• Follow industry-standard best practices through the lifecycle
• Proficient knowledge and experience automating workflows utilizing ServiceNow
• Experience or exposure to IT Asset Management concepts, processes, procedures and methodologies is a nice to have

• Solid leadership skills with proven ability to influence in a high performing/geographically dispersed team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Must possess strong documentation skills and enjoy working with rapid change in a fast-paced environment.
• Dynamic and flexible

Anticipated Compensation is $85 – $90/hr plus benefits. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
