Job Description

Seeking an SAP Functional Implementation Lead for a 10+ month W2 contract with our cloud technology Honolulu-headquartered client.

Start date: 4/1/2023
Duration: 10-month W-2 contract, (Opportunity of conversion)
Location: REMOTE or onsite in Honolulu, Hawaii.
NOTE: Travel will be expected (up to 30~50%) to client and partner offices.

The ideal candidate will have:

– At least 5 years of S/4HANA Finance experience
– Full lifecycle experience on a minimum of three SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
– Team leadership experience on a minimum of one SAP S/4HANA implementation project
– Working knowledge of SAP implementation methodology (Activate)
– Working knowledge of migration to S/4 HANA from legacy (cloud and on-premise)
– Working knowledge of integration between core S/4 and other line-of-business applications
– Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on pragmatic solutions within the SAP standard best practice framework

Responsibilities:

– Demonstrate intimate knowledge and a proven record of success leading or assisting functional development efforts to implement SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
– Design, test and deploy the technical components required for successful SAP solutions, especially RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and testing;
– Plan, assign and supervise the work of an assigned team designing and testing the SAP modules.
– Personally perform the more difficult analysis and design work of the team
– Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document client requirements
– Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, confirm/develop business requirements definition, map client business requirements, processes and objectives
– Design, configure and test FI/CO modules
– Design, configure and test of RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms)
– Own data migration, conversion, testing, interface, security, reporting strategy, development and execution

Qualification & Requirements:

– Experience as a functional expert across multiple project assignments specifically within S/4 HANA with configuration, cutover and interface experience.
– Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and postproduction support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules
– Deep knowledge of SAP Finance (GL, New GL, AA, AP, AR) & controlling, data migration, closing processes, fast close
– ABAP Knowledge
