Job Description
We’re seeking an IT Project Manager with security-related projects (IAM and IGA) for our global brand-recognized client headquartered in North Orange County. The ideal person will be a proactive and disciplined IT Project Manager with strengths in core PM functions such as communications, project scheduling and maintenance, risk mitigation, issue resolution, resource management, expectations setting, communications, facilitating meetings, escalations, project artifacts, change management, etc.
The emphasis of the work will be on identity and access management and identity governance administration initiatives plus approximately 20% on other security-related projects, functioning as a vendor liaison with a large consulting firm to ensure that timelines and deliverables are on schedule.
** Start date: May 2024
**Duration: 6-12+month W2 contract, with potential to extend
** Location: Hybrid in North Orange County, CA – 1-2 days onsite
** Compensation: This is W2 role plus benefits. The expected compensation starts at $60-70/hr, with flexibility to go higher DOE. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Position Responsibilities:
• Manage project deliverables and milestones within approved timelines and budget
• Responsible for creating the Master Project Plan, and working with vendor contact on integration for ServiceNow, MS Azure, and HR Workforce cloud-based Systems.
• Utilize System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management Methodology to manage the development, customization, configuration, testing, and implementation of IT systems
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of approved projects
• May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
