Job Description
We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our client, a well-established and fast-growing supply chain client, located in the Torrance, CA area. Location: Torrance, CA
Hybrid Role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Compensation Range: $115K to $130K plus bonus and benefits
The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Power BI (and other tools) to create insightful and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends to the organization.
• Optimize Power BI reports and queries for performance and responsiveness.
• Perform data mining, forecasting, and predictive modeling to deliver statistical data analysis
• Use databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services to integrate into Power BI datasets.
• Create suitable reporting/analysis by cleaning, transforming, and modeling data.
• Manage data protection regulations by creating security measures that establish data confidentiality and compliance.
• Work with cross-functional teams that include: business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, report specifications, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience working with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query.
