Job Description

Contract Attorney – Technology & IT Contracts

We’re seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to support IT and indirect procurement organizations with a strong focus on technology contracting. In this role, you’ll negotiate and manage complex agreements while partnering closely with business, IT, Privacy, and Security teams to enable critical technology initiatives.

Start: March 1, 2026
Duration: 10 month W2 Contract with potential to extend
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: Starting at $71/hr W2 only plus benefits, with potential to increase based on experience and skillset

What You’ll Do

Draft, review, and negotiate technology agreements (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, IT services)
Negotiate SOWs, managed services, and infrastructure/networking agreements
Support MSAs, vendor services agreements, NDAs, renewals, and data privacy agreements
Partner with IT, InfoSec, Privacy, and Procurement to assess risk and close deals
Translate legal and commercial risk into clear business guidance
Improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) and active U.S. bar license
7–10 years of experience negotiating IT and commercial contracts
Strong experience with SaaS/cloud, software licensing, and data privacy terms
Ability to manage a high-volume contract workload independently
Strong negotiation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

In-house or corporate contracting experience
Experience supporting indirect procurement or sourcing teams
Familiarity with InfoSec frameworks and vendor risk assessments
