Job Description
We’re looking for a bright, curious Automation Engineer with a can-do attitude and a genuine love of learning. You’ll work as the right hand to an an exceptional Technical Lead in an expanding team, with mentorship and a clear path to long-term career growth.

Start: Immediate
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Rate: $45 – $50/hr (W2 only, no C2C)
Location: Local to Orange County or Los Angeles County, CA. Hybrid/remote, must be able to drive to either office location
Required Skills
Minimum:
– 2+ years of hands-on experience programming and deploying code into enterprise production environments in an automation, engineering, or systems role.
– Advanced Excel proficiency, including VBA development used in enterprise production workflows.
– Working knowledge of SQL, including querying, data manipulation, and basic database administration.
– Experience integrating systems using JSON and REST APIs.
Preferred:
– Experience with PHP, frameworks, and JavaScript.
– Experience with enterprise Power BI cloud deployment. (Next Generation for Data Presentations and Dash Boards)
– Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or other similar OLAP products
– Experience with C# (.NET) development.
– Experience with Java Development
– Experience with MS SQL Server.
– Experience using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud workflows) with SharePoint.
– Experience interacting with Microsoft Graph API.
– Experience supporting accounting systems or ERPs, financial reporting workflows, or enterprise financial planning models.
Responsibilities:
– Build, deploy, and support code used in enterprise production environments
– Automate business and financial workflows using Excel, VBA, SQL, and APIs
– Integrate systems using REST APIs and JSON
– Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to turn ideas into working solutions
– Support and enhance reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision tools
– Learn new platforms and technologies as the business evolves
