Senior IT Project Manager – ERP Integration
Position Summary
– Start Date: ASAP
– Duration: 3-6 months to start
– Compensation: The expected compensation starts at $60.00/hr W2 plus benefits. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
About This Opportunity
Join our dynamic Information Technology team as a Senior IT ERP Integration Project Manager! This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead multiple medium-sized projects in the Enterprise Resource Planning integration space, specifically focusing on enterprise platform solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of driving positive business value while ensuring projects meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
As a senior-level contributor, you’ll engage with executives, business stakeholders, and partners across all organizational levels. Beyond project delivery, you’ll serve as a mentor, leader, and innovative thought partner within the Project Management Office, inspiring teams with collaborative leadership and fresh ideas that drive organizational maturity.
Key Responsibilities
– Direct the complete project lifecycle from initiation through closure for IT projects of varying size and complexity
– Champion structured project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Iterative approaches
– Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve successful deliverable outcomes
– Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical path elements
– Analyze, manage, and report on project performance including financial reporting and resource allocation
– Provide financial forecasting and ongoing reconciliation of project-related expenditures
– Develop and execute comprehensive project schedules with tasks, durations, dependencies, and resource assignments
– Control and track changes to scope, time, cost, quality, issues, and risk
– Escalate risks and issues to leadership while assessing solutions in a timely manner
– Manage multiple medium-sized projects simultaneously or single large-scale projects
– Serve as thought leader and innovative partner in organizational maturity initiatives
– Mentor junior-level project managers
Required Skills & Experience
– Excellent judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
– Must have project-managed 2 or more Workday HR & Finance implementation projects
– Recent ERP platform experience with focus on financial and HR module integration
– Proven ability to prioritize work and manage 2-3 medium-sized projects simultaneously
– Strong capability to drive clarity and create pathways from ambiguous situations
– Expert-level relationship building, influencing, and communication skills
– Ability to translate technically complex concepts for non-technical team members
– Demonstrated composure in high-stress situations
– Experience with highly complex IT technologies and ERP integration projects
– Skilled in defining stakeholder roles and responsibilities across project teams
– Proficient in weekly status reporting and RAID maintenance including project KPIs
– Knowledge of Project Management Framework execution and adherence
– Ability to define and socialize business benefits and organizational value
Preferred Qualifications
– PMP certification
– Agile certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, etc.)
